About Ink & Wren
My work is rooted in a love of nature, storytelling, and the expressive beauty of ink on paper. Through surface pattern design, I’m able to weave together my passion for creativity and the natural world, drawing on my background and experience in both theatre and product design. I create hand-drawn designs for wallpaper, textiles and stationery, blending craftsmanship with a strong sense of place and love of bringing people together.
From early sketches with dip pen and ink to finished pieces that celebrate everyday beauty, everything I create is an invitation to slow down, connect, and notice the world around us. I’m passionate about designs that bring warmth, character, and a sense of story to everyday life.
The story behind Ink & Wren
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the tangible intimacy and permanence of ink on paper — the kind that holds memory, meaning, and feeling. Two of my most treasured possessions are my grandparents' love letters and my mum’s handwritten recipe book, both filled with scribbles, sketches, and personality. To me, these are art forms.
The name “Ink & Wren” reflects that spirit. Wrens are symbols of creativity, renewal, and song. There’s even one outside my window in London that reminds me, daily, that even in the busiest places, nature still hums softly beneath it all.
I invite you to join me on my creative adventures, where each design is a testament to the everyday beauty that surrounds us, waiting to be noticed, captured, and celebrated.
